This is a set of four skew bladed side beads offered at $65. They are by different makers, but together make up a good range. Plane A is unmarked, though obviously professionally made. There is a 3/4 impression on the heel. Plane B is by Mackay, Burley & Heys, Glasgow, marked 5/8. Plane C is by A. Mathieson & Son, Glasgow, and is marked 1/4. Finally, plane D is an unmarked, full boxed about 3/16ths, with a removable depth stop for working up close to a profile. Purchase as a set only.
