The primary wood for this end table is Honduras mahogany. It was designed to match an entryway table based on an early 17th century British table that I made earlier. The legs are carved from solid 3" stock, the top from 1 1/4" for a good heavy appearance. Finished with oil and wax, this will patinate beautifully over the years.
