This table, of quartersawn red oak, was made as a hall table, sized to a painting that would be hung above. Slightly taller than most tables, with tapered legs, it has a somewhat lightened appearance. The item is photographed as delivered, without drawer hardware. There is so much hardware available, the client decided to hold off on the decision until she saw it in her house, then install it herself. It was stained to match the staircase that went up in the same hallway, and was finished in oil and wax.
