This is a custom stock from a beautiful piece of mesquite. See the detail photos, and notice the unbroken grain from fore to aft. The stock could almost have been split from the piece of wood. A friend and I made this as a replacement for a walnut stock that came with the gun. He shaped brass for the butt plate, and I filled that with lacewood.
